PRICED in a contemporary hand, ruled in red, title with red-line ornaments. Rhodes' collection consisted of nearly 5,000 volumes, mainly single plays, including 30 Shakespeare quartos, quarto plays of Beaumont and Fletcher, Heywood, Ben Jonson, and a large selection of dramatic criticism. The sale realized £1,751 according to DNB, though the owner of this copy calculated the total to have been £1,818.6.0. Pollard, p. 160.
