Autograph letter signed ("R. Doyle") and again ("Richard Doyle"), to Mrs Wildon from 2 Saville Row, Stafford Club headed paper, 3 1/2pp., 8, 24 November 1862). Apologising "I at once plead guilty but with extenuating circumstances with regard to the autographs and monograms" he had been delayed in posting to her. Enclosing amongst others Cardinal Wisemen, Tom Hughes, W.M. Thackeray, J.E. Millais, John Leech and W. Holman Hunt. Concluding with a post-script joke that he had recently heard.
One-page autograph letter signed ("G.Cattemole") to Mr Watkins, from Clapham, 8, 19 July 1867. Thanking him for "the 'five-pounder'".
With a quantity of other letters of artistic and musical interest including George Frederick Watts, Richard Norman Shaw and signatures ("John Leech") and ("Paul Nash").
