Robert Lallemant studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Dijon and later went on to work for Raoul Larche. After opening his own studio in 1928, he produced ceramics in small editions and also worked as a furniture designer and interior decorator. Lallemant was the only artist to present ceramics at the U.A.M. exhibition in 1929.
