Engraved architectural frontispiece, title printed in red and black, initials, printed in double column, ruled in red throughout (occasional light spotting). Contemporary black morocco with coat-of-arms of George I or George II on covers, wide gilt borders incorporating crown and floral roll-tool motifs, repeated crowned monogram in spine compartments (extremities rubbed, scuffed). Provenance: Margaret Burgis (ornamented inscription dated 1762 at front).
