SELLERS, Peter (1925-1980). Two typed letters signed ('Peter Sellers') to A.C. Spectorsky and Hugh Hefner, London, 1962-1964. Together 3 pages, 4to, on private stationery, with carbon correspondence from Jack Kessie.
2 October 1962: "I was delighted with the article about me, appearing in the October PLAYBOY. The whole thing, if I may say so, was very intelligently thought out, and, as I have been told, makes extremely interesting reading, so I hope you will accept my congratulations, even though they are with an obviously personal bias."
6 February 1964: "I am a complete devotee of Playboy; of what you so succintly say in your philosophy; of the authors that you attract; of what they write; and above all of the fact that Playboy constantly persuades me that life is for living."
[With:] A humorous series of four 5 x 7 in. color photographs depicting Sellers in various scenarios.
