Titles within different woodcut borders, numerous woodcut illustrations in the text, with the final blank at end of Book 5 and the Libro estraordinario (top margins cut close, a few light stains). 19th-century vellum (a trifle soiled, another part removed from the the end). Provenance: dedication to Book 1 copied out on title and verso of title -- Romano Rondeleto, 1811 (signature on title). Fowler 333.
PALLADIO, Andrea (1518-1589). Le terme dei Romani ... con la giunta di alcune osservazioni da Ottavio Bertotti. Vicenza: Giovanni Rossi, 1797. 4° (234 x 180mm). Engraved frontispiece portrait and 25 plates, mostly folding (a little light foxing, small hole in portrait not affecting engraved area). Contemporary boards, blue edges (spine worn). Cf.
