    Lot Essay

The author, also known as Katibi, was born in Turshiz and studied at Nishapur and Herat. He is known as a calligrapher and poet at the courts of Shah Rukh and Baysunqur. This is an early copy of the work.

The nineteenth century miniatures are almost certainly the work of the Imami family.
