Super-chancery 2° (311 x 206mm). Roman type, text with commentary surround, initials in early magenta ink. (Two leaves stained, marginal dampstaining and small wormholes at end, a few words erased and corrected, splits at hinges.) 16th-century buff flexible boards. Provenance: annotated by an attentive contemporary reader in a humanist hand.
