    Compuesta por: Una pareja de sillones y ocho sillas, el montante superior del respaldo curvo y con una pala horizontal, los asientos de enea, sobre patas de balaustre unidas por chambranas, tres reducidas en altura, una con el asiento daado.

    Una silla prcticamente igual se encuentra en el "guarda muebles" de la coleccin Real Espaola, Palacio Real, Madrid (L. Feduchi, Colecciones Reales de Espaa: El Mueble, fig. 282, p. 369). Un ejemplo similar en madera de limoncillo aparece ilustrado en S. Grandjean, Empire Furniture, London, 1966, fig. 94 (Arenenberg, Napoleonmuseum). Fueron hechas en Chiavari, Italia, circa 1825, y estuvieron en la coleccin de la Reina Hortensia. Otro juego permanece en Fontainebleau, aunque posiblemente de fecha posterior.


    An almost identical chair exists in the Spanish Royal collection in the 'Guarda Muebles', Palacio Real, Madrid (L. Feduchi, Colecciones Reales de Espaa: El Mueble, fig. 282, p. 369). A related example executed in satinwood is illustrated in S. Grandjean, Empire Furniture, London, 1966, fig. 94 (Arenenberg, Napoleonmuseum). It was made in Chiavari, Italy, circa 1825, and was formerly in the collection of Queen Hortense. Another set exists at Fontainebleau, although possibly of a later date.
