[SIR ERNEST HENRY SHACKLETON (1874-1922)]
A folio of photographs including portraits of Shackleton, and photographs taken on the departures of the Discovery and Nimrod expeditions, together with approximately 41 Antarctic postcards (5 Discovery, 27 Nimrod, 8 Endurance and one of Shackleton's grave), Shackleton's first class railway passes for 'Ferro-Carril Central Argentina' and 'Ferro-Carril del Sud...', 1917-1918, and a lock of Shackleton's hair in an envelope inscribed 'Ernest/April 1877'
