SOLINUS, Caius Julius (fl. 3rd century). Polyhistor, sive De mirabilibus mundi. [Venice: Petrus de Quarengiis?, after 1500.]
Super-chancery 2° (303 x 210mm). Roman type, woodcut historiated initial, initial spaces with guide-letter. (Two leaves browned, a little light spotting, a few hinges reinforced.) Modern blindstamped tan sheep, patterned endpapers (extremities very slightly scuffed). Provenance: marginal annotations in a contemporary italic hand noting geographical locations.
