Original autograph manuscript by Edith Somerville of the short story 'The House of Fahy', 3 June 1899, in black ink on lined paper, 23 pages, folio (322 x 200mm), contemporary green half morocco gilt with clover designs stamped in gilt.
'The House of Fahy' was later included as Chapter X in Some Experiences of an Irish R.M. (1908).
