SOUTHERN CHEYENNE BOY'S SHIRT
Elk or deer hide shirt with yellow pigment covering the body and sleeves, the front yoke painted green with five deeply scalloped tabs edged in white and white heart red beads, each with a cross in light blue, white and translucent red beads. Fringed shoulders and folded cuffs painted green with silver studs around wrists. The back has a rounded fringed collar painted green with a band of beadwork in alternating stacked squares of black and yellow and light blue and white heart red on a white field. Front and back have long green fringe widely spaced in two horizontal rows on body. Bottom edge of shirt and sleeves is cut in a serrated pattern.
