Lot Essay

This lot copies the left wing of a Cretan triptych dedicated to the life of St. John the Evangelist. The triptych dating to circa 1500 is attributed to the workshop of Andreas Ritzos and his son, Nikolaos, and it belongs to the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow (Inv. No: 12744)
