PRICED in a contemporary hand, ruled in red. Large-paper copy of the sale catalogue of the library of George Steevens, which "... marks the earliest appearance in the auction-room of a large Shakespeare collection" (De Ricci). He owned nearly fifty Shakespeare quartos, including twelve first editions. De Ricci, pp. 62-63.
