PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY STEIN TO ANDRÉ SALMON on the front free endpaper: "A Andre Salmon en vieux amitie Gertrude Stein." Salmon was a French poet who, while formerly a member of Stein's Parisian circle, later criticized The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas. Wilson D6.
