With gilt-finished cylinder movement, plain brass three arm balance, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, concealed under an oval cover engraved with a bowl of flowers against a blue and white champlevé enamel ground, set into a small engine-turned purse engraved with scrolled branches to both sides, the reverse engraved with a sheaf of wheat, symbolising a good harvest, to the centre, with associated gold curb-link chain, unsigned
