The Bindu which holds infinite promise for "becoming", manifests itself in various forms in Raza's works; its constancy lies in that it always remains the starting point of the process for artistic creation.
The poet Henry Michaux invokes the Bindu with these words:
"Force without face
Matrix of forms
And rampart against forms
In space an eye without space contemplates"
Plastic order and plastic logic are always present in Raza's work and are as important as the artistic component: "...a dual that of a demanding mysterious and silent creation and that of the primal energy of the universe embodied as a microcosm of creation." (Pierre Gaudibert, Raza: New York 1999, Madras, 1999, p. 8 - 10)
