Saffery and may be had at Goulden's grocery and fishing tackle shop, 1804. 12, engraved frontispiece (restored at inner and with a small repair at outer margin, title also restored at inner margin), later 19th-century brown half morocco and mottled boards with gilt-lettered spine, t.e.g. Provenance: John Fremlyn Streatfeild (armorial bookplate).
FIRST EDITION OF THIS CELEBRATED LOCAL ANGLING BOOK. Consisting of 40pp. plus the errata leaf, Petit could describe it as being of great rarity even in 1920. W. & S. p. 126; Petit 89: "Ouvrage de toute raret".
