Represented half-length, holding Christ in her arms, leaning forward, her cheek touching to that of her Son, him caressing her face, holding a scroll, stretching his leg and revealing his underfoot, the background dark green at the bottom and gold above, the inscriptions in red, the rims with punched decoration, painted with pale colours, the flesh highlighted with delicate white brushstrokes
