five nature-embossed engravings in colors, 1855, on wove papers, published by Bradbury and Evans, Whitefriars, London, all with margins, all with soft handling creases throughout, a few small stains on several plates, Plate X with amendments to the text in pencil, Plate XX with a diagonal crease accross the lower right margin, Plate XXVII with a vertical crease in the lower right margin corner, otherwise all apparently in good condition, in dark bird's-eye wood frames with an ebony edge and French mats with wash lines, not examined out of the frames
