INDENTCaptain Thomas Geoffrey Brocklebank, educated at Eton and Trinity College, Oxford, was called to the Bar in 1906 and joined the Northern Circuit; in 1913 he joined the Liverpool Shipping Company - Brocklebanks; associated with the 7th London Brigade, R.F.A., he transferred to the 4th (West Lancs.) Howitzer Territorial Brigade, R.F.A. in 1913. Mobilized in August 1914 he arrived in France, October the following year. Captain Brocklebank died of wounds, 5 August 1916 and is buried in Dive Copse British Cemetery, Soilly-Le-Sec, France (see Liverpool Scroll of Honour)
Second Lieutenant Leonard Wilfred Drinkwater, of New Brighton, was killed in action during the third Battle of Passchaendaele, 3 October 1917.
