INDENTCaptain William Murray Geddes, born 1888, educated at Liverpool College, joined the Militia and was commissioned in the Wiltshire Regiment as 2nd Lieutenant, 1909 advanced to Lieutenant 1912 and Captain January 1915. He proceeded to the Western Front June 1915 and was killed in action in the Battle of Loos 27 September 1915.
Captain Arthur Alec Geddes, born 1893, educated at Liverpool College, entered the Army through the Special Reserve and was commissioned into the 3rd Bn. West Yorkshires; was advanced to Lieutenant May, 1914 and carried the Regimental Colours in the King's Birthday Parade; he joined the 1st Bn West Yorkshires at the Front September 1914 and was invalided to England in October; he was commissioned into the Army Service Corps - the appointment was ante-dated to August 1914. Captain Geddes was ordered to India May 1916 in charge of a Motor Ambulance Convoy and died of sickness in Rawal Pindi 5 July following.
