Each set with a central silhouette reserved within millefiori and silhouette canes, on an opaque turquoise ground, the first with a shoulder-length portrait of Whistler's mother, to sinister 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) diameter; 1½ in. (3.9 cm.) high; the second with a bust-length portrait of Princess Eugenie, to sinister, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) diameter; 1 5/8 in.
