Three ivory netsuke
a bearded scholar wearing tassle-tied long flowing robes, holding a fan in one hand setaed on a barrel, red lacquer signature tablet -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high; an old man carrying a boy across one shoulder, his head raised in anguish, the boy holding a fan, incised signature -- 1¾in. (4.4cm.) high; and a karashishi clambering over a flatenned ball -- 1¼in. (3.3cm.) high, (split to reverse of netsuke of man carrying boy, karashishi with one ear missing, age cracks, wear).
