"Thunderbird 2002" by Michael Lamm
Published in 2000, this is Michael Lamm's story of the back room development of the "New" Thunderbird which recaptured the original 2-seat T-Bird's style, its presentation to management and the public and eventual decision to enter production. Lamm's experience with the development of concept cars and the personalities who created them was demonstrated in the exceptional 1996 book "A Century of Automotive Style - 100 Years of American Car Design" which he co-authored with the late Dave Holls. "Thunderbird 2002" is essential reading for any Thunderbird enthusiast and a valuable resource for anyone intrigued by the development of automotive concepts.
This copy of "Thunderbird 2002" will be signed by the Ford designers who helped to create the "New" Thunderbird, making it particularly important and unique in Thunderbird history.
