Original half vellum, gilt-lettered on spines, top edges gilt, others uncut (worn, hinges of vol. I cracked, front hinge of vol. II reinforced, remnants of library shelf labels on spines). Provenance: George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum (bookplate, library stamp on verso of plates, library accession stickers on verso of front free endpaper).
