2 parts in one, 8o (205 x 127 mm). (Heavy spotting to title-page and quire A, inner margin of verso of last leaf with slight defect.) Contemporary half calf, marbled boards, spine gilt (some rubbing to covers, joints cracking, spine lightly chipped). Provenance: Lord Cunliffe (bookplate); Alan G. Thomas (bookplate).
PRICED in a contemporary hand. Towneley's library was dispersed in a series of sales in the 1810s. This volume contains the catalogues to parts I and II. Part three occured on 22 May 1817 and included only a few remaining books. Blogie III, col. 11; De Ricci, p. 88-89; Pollard, p. 133 and p. 136.
