Two autograph notes signed ("M. I. Brunel") to [Joseph] Bennett, his son's clerk, at 18 Duke Street, Westminster, 5 lines and 4 lines respectively, 8vo with integral address leaf, 16 Jan. and 25th May 1839.
The earlier note asks Bennett to pay Mr. L. Dubuisson "five pounds -- on my own account" when he calls, while the later one is a request to know "the hours of work of the Draftsmen in your Office and how they are paid for extra time."
