From a set of the Five Senses modelled by J.C. Rombrich, each scantily draped and holding an attribute, Sound with a pocket-watch to his ear, Sight holding a telescope to his eye, the first standing next to a jardinière with one knee on a scroll support, the other before a tree stump on a scroll-moulded base applied with flowers (Sound with old restoration to his waist, chipping to the pocket-watch strap and to edge of base, Sight with restoration to end of telescope and left little finger, right hand damaged and repaired, one flower to base restuck, perhaps a replacement)
