The larger bi is carved from semi-translucent stone of tangyu (sugar jade) type and of greyish-white and pale beige tone with areas of brown and beigish-buff alteration. The smaller is carved from semi-translucent white stone with areas of brown and yellowish-brown alteration.
The larger, 5 ½ in. (14 cm.) diam.
