Two Meissen figures of Cupid in disguise
Circa 1750, the first with blue crossed swords mark to base, the second with blue crossed swords mark at back
The first in fur-lined pink and gilt cap, turquoise jacket and flowered apron, powdering a peruque and standing beside a wig-stand, the second in lace cap and turquoise cape holding a night-cap and reticule, both standing before tree-stumps on circular mound bases applied with flowers (the first with repair to both wings, slight chip to left sleeve and right cuff, the second with restoration to right wing, left hand, edge of cape at front and to left hem and to toes of left foot)
