Two Meissen pierced dark-blue-ground plates
each painted with lovers wearing eighteenth century dress seated within a rural landscape, within roundels gilt with C-scrolls and foliage, the pierced rim moulded with flowering branches and trellis pattern sections, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 6 and 63 to each, late 19th century (very light scratches to gilding) -- 25cm. diam.
