TWO OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
The first, transparent glass bottle, 1800-1900, is carved through the opaque black glass overlay with four large goldfish. The second, translucent milky-glass bottle, is carved through the translucent green-blue overlay on one side with a carp swimming above a lotus plant, and on the other side with a blossoming lotus plant emerging from waves.
2 ½ in. and 2 3/8 in. (6.3 and 5.8 cm.) high, glass and rose quartz stoppers
