Lot Essay

To compliment the Neo-Classical architecture of Edinburgh, the City Architect, Ebenezer McRae, designed these elegant 'temples' in 1931. The famous Carron Iron Foundry cast them entirely in iron, weighing approximately two and a half tonnes.
