A collection of ten early portrait albums, five with cartes-de-visite, the remainder with some larger albumen prints, sizes ranging from approx. 2 x 2½ in. to 6½ x 9½ in., variously mounted and credited, a few dated in pencil or ink, two red leather, six brown leather, many with gilt clasps, g.e., sizes from 6 x 5 in. to 11½ x 9½ in. or the reverse (10)

Individual and group portraits taken inside and outside, the majority English but also including European portraits and a few interesting South African portraits. Some albums also include views and topographical photographs.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
