Engraved frontispiece and 114 plates, 14 folding, by Cole, Fourdrinier, Grignion and others, engraved title-vignette of the Pantheon and a vignette of an aquaduct at the beginning of the text, both by H. Roberts (2 folding plates slightly defective, one shaved, some light browning and offsetting). Modern polished calf gilt. FIRST EDITION, mixed issues of the plates whose erratic collation agrees with Fowler, loc. cit.. Archer 339.1; Harris 906; Fowler 436; RIBA 3581.
