etching, 1888, on cream simili Japon, signed in pencil and annotated 'N.A.', with the anchor remarque, with the artist's copyright and 'G.W.H. Ritchie imp.' lines, with margins (folded back), pale light- and time staining, two tiny abrasions in the left figure's dress, a few minor creases, nailed in areas (and other old nail holes) along the margin edges to a wood frame, small areas of old glue remains, surface soiling and a few foxmarks in the margins, otherwise in good condition
