(A few leaves with unobtrusive inkspotting or marking, volume I title reguarded, volume I, O2 with marginal paper flaw touching one letter, volume II, P2 reguarded and with skilfully repaired clean marginal tear.) 20th-century crushed blue morocco gilt by Riviere & Son, the covers with triple gilt fillet borders, gilt board edges and roll-tooled gilt turn-ins, the spines gilt in 6 compartments divided by raised bands, titled in gilt in 2 compartments and dated at the foot, the other compartments decorated in gilt with central gilt acorn tools within gilt fillet frames with gilt floral corner-pieces, gilt edges.
