3 volumes, 12° (190 x 117mm). Half-titles. (Gatherings C, D and R in vol. I starting to detach, D3 in vol. II with clean long tear affecting one word of text, a few other marginal tears, some spotting, light soiling and browning.) Uncut in contemporary patterned linen, printed paper label on spines (rubbed, front inner hinge of vol. I split). Provenance: William Wordsworth (half-title to vol. I inscribed: 'Wm. Wordsworth. Rydal Mount. 20th Dec, 1828' ) -- 'These vols were purchased at the Rydal Mount Sale' [20 July, 1859] (inscription at foot of half-title). Summers p. 163; Block p. 200.
