Limited to 70 copies, Wrangham compiled the catalogue himself, with his much amplified commentaries on many of the books. The poet and theologian, Francis Wrangham was a bibliophile with a passion for unpublished works, books printed in very limited editions or on colored paper. Before his death he gave his collection of 10,000 pamphlets bound in 996 volumes to Trinity College, Cambridge.
