WRIGHT AGREES TO SERVE ON THE COMMITTEE FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS COLLIER TROPHY. "...I shall be willing to serve on the Collier Trophy Committee again if the meeting can be held on the day of, or the day immediately before or after, the January meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. The others mentioned in your letter for the committee, I think, would be entirely satisfactory...."
The Collier Trophy was established in 1911 by Robert J. Collier, publisher and early President of the Aero Club of America; administered by the National Aeronautic Association of the U.S.A., it is awarded annually.
