Yong Rong was the sixth son of the Qianlong emperor. In the twenty-fourth year of the Qianlong era, Yong Rong was made a beile (marquis), and made heir to Prince Yun Xi. Yong Rong became Zhi Junwang (Duke of Zhi) in the thirty-fourth year, and Prince Jin in the fifty-fourth year of the qianlong era. Yong Rong spent his life in the arts, and was close to a lot of painters of his time.
