NOTE:
Huang Baoxu (1880-1968), also called Qingshan Nong, was a native of Qianshan in the Changle region of China, Fujian. With extensive study of Chinese seals, calligraphy and paintings, Qingshan Nong was the renowned calligrapher, seal carver and painter in the early half of 20th-century China. He was the librarian of Fujian Provincial Library, the professor at the Shanghai Art College and Shanghai University and was the director of the Art Department of Shangwu Publishing House. he was a proficient connoisseur of calligraphya nd painting, and was called the "Eye of Wisdom of Shanghai" together with yao Yuqin, Wu Hufan and Zhang Daqian.
