Provenance: Sir William Jardine (presentation inscriptions from two authors, ownership inscription to front endpaper and one title); with a drawing of a bird by Sir William Jardine, in pencil, and a letter to Jardine from S. W. Henslow, sending a description of 'a superb Beetle'.
