A silver naval commemorative Plaque of the Port at Libau
marked Grachev with Imperial warrant, St. Petersburg, circa 1893
Rectangular, the front engraved with a view of the port within scroll border with four vignette views, the cypher of Alexander III, the double-headed eagle and the inscription 'Plan of Libau commerc[ial] and milit[ary] Port 12 VIII 1893', the reverse engraved with a Russian inscription on the opening of the port, marked on reverse, in original velvet and silk-lined velvet case
