The tureen circular on a spreading stepped base with beaded knop, the body with gadrooned rim with shell and acanthus leaves at intervals, the reeded side handles with acanthus-leaf joins, the stepped domed cover surmounted by an eagle crest finial, each side of body engraved with a coat-of-arms, badge, crest and motto, the cover with similar crest, with removable modern liner; the vegetable dishes shaped circular, the gadrooned rim with similar decoration, the domed cover with similar engraving and detachable finial, the inside of dishes also engraved with similar crest; the stands circular on four pad feet, with two reeded scroll and flowerhead side handles, with modern liners and the interior with removable pierced grille, marked on tureen, dishes, covers and finials, and finial bolt on tureen
