Lot Essay

The Milgauss model was designed for use in areas of high electro-magnetic fields, laboratories, electro-engineering etc. One of the most distinctive of all all Rolex Sports models 1019 was the last "tool" watch, i.e. designed for a specific activity, to be produced by the Company. Despite being in production for over 20 years it was never a popular watch and as a result is now considered by collectors to be very desirable.
