Lot Essay

On 27th September 1753, Lazare Duvaux sold to S.A.S. Monseigneur le duc des Deux-Ponts (the way in which Carl Theodore, the Elector Palatine was generally referred to in France) six seaux verres de porcelaine de Vincennes, peints en camaieu pourpre, 301. He also sold, at the same price, 18 painted with landscapes to the same client in July 1753.
