The anglaise riche case with ripple mouldings, mounted with painted porcelain panels to the sides depicting young girls, one picking flowers and the other fishing from a pond, with foliate scroll engraved mask to the white enamel Roman chapter disc, blued moon hands, silvered platform to ratchet tooth lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance, solid rear door, strike/repeat on gong to backplate stamped for Gay Lamaille & Co. and PATENT SURETY POLLER, with number 408 -- 7in. (17.75cm.) high
